There are several apps out there that allow you to backup your texts and you can print them from there. Also if you are on an Android device and have your hangouts linked to SMS your texts are actaully being saved to hangouts in history.
If you can specify the phone you are using and how you are texting there may be a way to find and print out previous texts, just let us know.
