Yeah, they hire a bunch of deadbeats over at AT&T, that's why I'd rather not call them. I called them several times on different occasions, explained my problem slowly and coherently, and everytime the condensed response I get is, "HUURRR? (foreign accent) Lemme wead u wut it say on awr website...." as if I couldn't have done that myself. -_-
Actually I DO need 4G LTE speeds as I am planning to use the hotspot for streaming and gaming as well as work. I guess, to put it shortly, I don't get how the whole prepaid thing works...
From what I understand, the top plan for a prepaid hotspot is $75 for 30 days of coverage and 8GB of data, and every 2GB more of data costs an additional $10. It also says that if there is money left over on the account, the plan will be renewed for the next month and rollover data from the previous month. So, here is my question:
Can I go pick up about $300 worth of refill cards at my local retailer, add that money to the account, purchase a $75 plan for 1 month (8GB), add 30GB more for $150, (total of 38GB for that month) and then just have the plan auto-renew the next month with the remaining $75? Theoretically speaking this should give me 2 months worth of coverage and about 46GB of data, is that correct?
